We can only guess at how many murder trials were underway in Canada
this past week, yet one got selected for front page and lead-story
attention.
Farmer, Gerald Stanley was found not guilty of the murder of Colten
Boushie. That trial has been front page news all week. Why that one.
CBC and probably other media have been pushing it as a race issue and
with the not guilty verdict are declaring justice has not been done.
CBC are making that case because many Natives are saying so and people
have turned out to demonstrate.
So if justice truly has not been done, isn't that a situation for an
appeal?
