Although CBC self-promos state with their new look they will continue
to provide us with the most important news of the day, this is not
happening.
On the first day of their rebranding, The National spent the first 10
minutes talking about a baseball player who killed himself in a plane
crash in Florida.
Currently a visible symbol of CBC pushing ideas is the poppy being worn
by all four of The National news readers (and actors) as well as their
paid panelists. There's a message being sent to us which should not be
part of presenting the news, regardless of your opinion on Remembrance
and the red poppy.
