For most editions of World Report (but dropped for Western regions),
CBC included this 20 second long story:
"A Buddhist monk has been killed in Bangladesh. .... It is believed the
attack was carried out by Muslim extremists."
So why is a report on a murder from the other side of the world
newsworthy here?
Well, at least, CBC did not include anything in their pro-LGBT
campaign. (They did though on the Western Canada edition where they had
a correspondent's report from Cuba. CBC promoted with the acronym,
"LGBTQ" - where the "Q" is presumably for Cuba.)
